Many smaller reactors on the market look good, are packaged well and are competitively priced however when you get down to using them they just do not tick all of the boxes. D-D have spent a lot of time on such a relatively simple product ironing out the bugs from a users point of view rather than from an ease of manufacture. This fluidised / fluidized media reactor is a flexible, low-cost solution developed to reliably fluidise a wide range of media used in marine and freshwater aquaria.

SUITABLE FOR
  • Phosphate removers
  • Bio pellets
  • Carbon
  • Biological sand as a fluidised sand filter
Compact & versatile
These reactors are small enough for nano tanks but have sufficient capacity for larger systems. They can be installed inside most sumps or hung on aquarium glass for flexible placement. Designed with the hobbyist in mind, the unit balances footprint and performance for effective media contact and consistent flow.
Plug & Play
How often do you buy some equipment and then find you do not have all of the parts to install it? The reactor is supplied with all of the items that you need to get going:
  • Reactor unit
  • Lengths of clear plastic tubing
  • Pump (included on kit models only)
  • Non-return valve
  • Flow adjustment tap
  • Two grades of media sponges
  • Cable ties for securing pipework
IMPORTANT NOTE
The hose connectors on the top of the reactor are designed to be a tight push fit; however if the unit is to be used outside of the sump then we recommend that you glue these in position for extra security once the final position is determined and connect all hoses with the cable ties supplied. This will provide extra assurance if the connectors were not connected properly in the first place or if the unit is knocked accidentally.
Whether you need dependable phosphate removal, continuous bio-pellet rotation, carbon polishing or a fluidised sand filter, this reactor delivers practical, user-focused filtration performance for reef and freshwater setups.
