The sleeve of CURT's extended reducer slides inside a 2-1/2" square tube receiver and accepts all 2" hitch accessories, such as a 2" ball mount. It can pull up to 4, 500 lbs. and a has a tongue weight capacity of 450 lbs. Those capacities increase incrementally up to 8, 000 lbs. and 800 lbs. respectively, when a weight distribution hitch is added, and/or when its length is cut down from 34" to 24".
