The Meade Instruments Series 5000 16mm Premium Wide-Angle Eyepiece is outfitted with a 7-element lens system and moderate magnification with a spacious ultra-wide 82 field of view. All the eyepieces in the series are parfocal so there will be little to no focus adjustment needed when switching between eyepieces. Anti-reflection fully multicoated optical glass presents you with superior color representation and brightness with blackened lens edges that provide enhanced contrast and help reduce internal reflections. This version of the Series 5000 PWA is offered here with a standard 1.25 nosepiece that will fit into most 1.25 holders and accessories while also accepting most 1.25 eyepiece filters.
