Reef Advantage Magnesium is a highly concentrated (80,000 ppm) and optimized blend of magnesium, chloride, and sulfate salts designed to effectively restore depleted magnesium levels in marine aquariums with minimal disruption to the natural ionic balance of seawater.

Ideal for reef and marine enthusiasts, this conditioning product supports healthy coral growth and overall tank stability by maintaining magnesium concentrations within the optimal range of 1200–1350 mg/L.

Usage Instructions:

Beginner: Add 5 g (1 level teaspoon) per 80 L (20 gallons*) twice weekly. Dissolve thoroughly in at least 250 mL (1 cup*) of freshwater before dosing.

Advanced: Test magnesium levels regularly and follow the beginner dosing regimen until magnesium reaches the target range. Each 5 g dose per 80 L raises magnesium by approximately 5 mg/L. Adjust the amount or frequency as needed, but do not exceed 25 g per 80 L daily. Maintain levels thereafter as required.

Expert: After determining your tank’s magnesium depletion rate, establish a continuous drip system using the formula: g = (v × m) / 80, where g is grams to add to top-off water, v is tank volume in liters, and m is the desired increase in mg/L. For example, to raise magnesium by 10 mg/L in a 200 L tank, add 25 g to the top-off water.

Maintaining proper magnesium levels is crucial for reef vitality and ionic stability in saltwater aquariums. This product offers a reliable, easy-to-use solution for hobbyists at every experience level, ensuring your marine environment remains balanced and thriving.
