Engineered for exceptional, comprehensive aquarium filtration, these hang-on power filters deliver crystal-clear water with maximum versatility and ease of use for both freshwater and saltwater setups.

Designed from the ground up, they feature a self-priming pump, dual water intake with an integrated surface skimmer, adjustable flow regulation, a self-cleaning, corrosion-resistant impeller, and a spacious filter basket that holds your choice of media. Each unit includes Matrix™ bio-media and a foam filter to get you started. Ventilation slots in the lid and aeration grooves in the outflow ensure fully oxygenated return water, enhancing gas exchange and overall water quality.

Innovative, user-friendly design

Bottom-to-top flow pushes water up through the media basket—ensuring full contact with all filtration media and preventing bypass common in back-to-front systems. A blue maintenance monitor pops up to alert you when media is clogged and flow is redirected, making upkeep simple and timely. The removable basket snaps into the lid for drip-free trips to the sink, while raised slots catch detritus when flow is paused.

Adaptable performance

Fine-tune circulation with adjustable intake and flow to match your aquarium’s bioload, species, and oxygenation needs. An adjustable leveling device keeps the unit steady on a variety of aquarium trims. An optional heater holder improves heat distribution by placing warmed water directly in the filter’s flow path.

The insulated pump runs near-silent with low power consumption, making it ideal for living spaces and offices. The self-priming design eliminates siphon hassles—just mount, plug in, and go.
Built for marine and freshwater

Constructed for durability, the self-cleaning impeller reduces maintenance in reef, marine, and planted environments alike. A surface skimmer continuously removes films and floating debris from just below the surface while drawing from deeper in the tank for thorough water turnover.

Backed by a 3 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship (extendable to 5 years upon registration). Warranty covers replacement of defective parts; impeller excluded.
